We’re mums, with laptops! We come from a range of backgrounds, our home lives are diverse and we have children of different ages – from new babies to grown ups with children of their own. Some of us work full time, some of us are at home full time, and the rest of us fall somewhere in between. We originally set up to discuss issues close to our hearts in the run up to the last General Election. After a short break, some of us decided we weren’t ready to hang up the keys, so from now we’ll be blogging about the impact of the new coalition government on us, our families, and friends, and highlighting stories in the media that are relevant to our lives.

Hi there LaptopMums,
what a funny coincidence I should stumble upon this blog, since I happen to be one myself. Not a blog, that is, but a LaptopMum :-), currently working as an entrepreneur from home, with my own media production & language consultancy company. Will be following you with interest!
Welcome Nora, and good luck with your enterprise!
